Located on the second floor of the Saint Leo Wellness Center within the Saint Leo Ministry suite, Saint Scholastica Confessional provides a quiet retreat for students and community members seeking prayer, contemplation, and spiritual guidance.
Named in honor of Saint Scholastica, the twin sister of Saint Benedict, the space was originally designed as an alternative chapel but was redesignated as a confessional in 2024 to better serve the spiritual needs of the Saint Leo community. Today, it offers a sacred setting for Confession, pastoral support, and one-on-one meetings with Ministry Chaplains. The confessional also houses historic Benedictine monastic manuscripts from the Abbey and the original 1952 University Ministry Bible.
Whether for prayer, reconciliation, or quiet reflection, Saint Scholastica Confessional remains a place of peace, renewal, and tradition within Saint Leo University.
