Join University Ministry for our Spring Retreat February 4-6th 2022! This will be an in house retreat, meaning we will go to Our Lady of the Rosary Parish located in Land O Lakes, FL during the day but will come back to Saint Leo at night.
The retreat will start Friday, Feb 4th at 5pm with mass in the Abbey Church and will conclude Sunday, Feb 6th at noon! Transportation will be provided. This retreat will cost $20, however we do not want money to be a reason you do not come so email Deidre Merrill at deidre.merrill@saintleo.edu to get your fee waived.
This Retreat will be lead by Fr. Jason Brooks LC and Mary Beth Connell
This retreat will consist of a series of talks, small groups, community acitivies, prayer and the sacraments! Get away from campus for the weekend to grow in your relationship with Our Lord!

Fr. Jason Brooks grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before joining the Legionaries of Christ in 1994, he attended Ripon College for three years where he played football and studied biology and secondary education. Fr. Jason was ordained a priest at the Church of St. Mary Major in Rome on November 25, 2004. After serving in Chicago and Atlanta for the first twelve years of his priesthood, Fr. Jason has been giving retreats and developing a healing ministry in Detroit for the past five years. Fr. Jason is enthusiastic about revealing the message and power of Divine Mercy to God’s people, and he also loves to spread devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. He is an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Corvettes, and praise and worship music.
Mary Beth Connell is from Atlanta, Georgia. She and her husband have two daughters with a third on the way. She worked as a registered nurse in both addiction treatment and acute care before embarking on her next adventure of homeschooling her girls. She is an avid learner of Theology of the Body and seeks to help her brothers and sisters find healing through the power of Divine Mercy.
